Ronnie Hughes

Ronnie Hughes is a composer, producer, singer and performer. Hughes began his music career at age sixteen when he began composing songs to be made popular by recording stars, Eddy Arnold, Hank Williams, Jr., Jimmy Dean, Jim Ed Brown, Little David Wilkins, Faron Young and other artists. Since those early formative years, he has had many of his original compositions recorded and released to become internationally acclaimed successes.

After majoring in music at George Peabody College in Nashville, Hughes began touring with recording stars, Hank Williams, Jr., Jerry Reed, Danny Davis and the Nashville Brass and Porter Waggoneer, playing concert dates the world over and many of the great Las Vegas Hotels, including Caesar's Palace, the MGM Grand, the Aladdin and Harrahs Club in Lake Tahoe and Reno.

Hughes has also had the exciting privilege of performing on many popular network and syndicated television shows such as "The Merv Griffin Show", "The Dinah Shore Show", "The Mike Douglass Show", "The Annual Country Music Awards Show", "Hee Haw", " New Country", "Nashville Alive" and most all of the Nashville based syndicated and network shows.

He has also had the distinct honor of performing for presidents Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan, either at their respective inaugural gala or private functions in their honor. One of Hughes' most memorable occasions is that of performing on stage with Bob Hope while touring with Danny Davis and the Nashville Brass.

Since leaving the world of touring with the stars, Hughes was active as a composer and studio musician, playing on hit recordings with many of the music industry's brightest stars, his most notable being those of Willie Nelson, Barbara Mandrell, Hank Williams, Jr., Jerry Reed, Janie Fricke and Mickey Gilley.

Hughes later became involved in composing, singing, playing and producing highly positive, uplifting motivational music. The enthusiasm generated by this music is absolutely fantastic. Hughes' long-time association with the music industry has afforded the luxury of having the very best of the entertainment world's most talented people to work with in creating this most exciting musical and lyrical project.
